THE WIFT-AT WAVE AWARDS
Do you know a remarkable, inspiring, talented Atlantic Canadian woman or gender-diverse person in the screen industry? Now is the time to recognize their contributions with a WIFT-AT WAVE Award nomination!
The WAVE Awards are a wide-ranging celebration and can include:
• Contributions and accomplishments
• Emerging talent
• Vision and leadership
• Outstanding behind-the-scenes support
The WAVE Awards will be presented at the Making Waves conference on April 11, 2026 at the Prince George Hotel.
Nomination Steps

You will be asked to upload the nominee’s resume as well as two letters of support from screen industry professionals.
There is no limit on the number of nominations submitted. There is a new selection committee each year, so if you have previously submitted a person who was not selected, please consider resubmitting them.
All nominations are confidential.
Nominations are due Friday, February 27. The recipients will be announced at Making Waves on Saturday, April 11.
