NOW OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Women Making Waves Pitch Competition 2017 with EXTENDED DEADLINE
At this year’s Pitch This: The New Normal competition, Women in Film and Television - Atlantic (WIFT-AT) will reward one short film pitch that spotlights diversity. $10,000 in prizes including $1000 cash and over $10,000 in-kind services from William F. Whites and Village Sound as well as one day of online services from 902Post
Pitch This: The New Normal encourages filmmakers of all backgrounds to include equality, diversity, and inclusion as part of their pitch concept.
The competition is open to both members and non-members and all all pitch finalists will receive a free full membership. There is no application fee. Go ahead and send your pitch!
For your pitch to be considered, send your CV along with a one-page pitch to email@example.com by midnight, February 19th. Your one-pager must include a title, a short synopsis, and an explanation of how your project incorporates equality, diversity, or inclusion — in the scenes or behind the scenes.
Five selected filmmakers will have the opportunity to present their five-minute pitch before an industry selection committee and a live audience at the Women Making Waves Conference on Saturday, March 4.

WIFT-AT members selected to pitch will be announced on Wednesday, February 22nd. The pitch winner will be announced Sunday, March 5 during the WAVE Awards brunch!
