Relative Happiness at Chester Playhouse May 28.

A screening presented by Fiction to Film!

In anticipation of the summer festival, Fiction to Film is hosting a screening of Deanne Foley’s film Relative Happiness (2014). This cheery and colourful film features Lexi Ivey (Melissa Bergland), a feisty and romantic bed & breakfast owner in small-town Nova Scotia. When Lexi’s romantic view of life is torn apart, she learns that love, however flawed and difficult, does exist. The screenplay is an adaptation of Lesley Crewe’s latest novel by the same title. Crewe hails from Cape Breton, and will be leading a much-anticipated workshop at this year’s festival.

The screening is scheduled to take place at the Chester Playhouse on Saturday May 28 at 7:30PM. Doors will open at 7PM. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door. Cash only.
