"I truly believe in Atlantic Canada and the vision of its female filmmakers. I am happy to
contribute $1000 to the WIFT-AT & pUNK FILMS 1KWAVEATLANTC Challenge. Shoot Good
Film!” Warren P. Sonoda, Filmmaker
"I executive produced five features for $5000 in Toronto’s 1KWAVE and the results were inspiring. All filmmakers had the same deadlines and the same $1000 cash budget restrictions. They felt accountable to each other, not only to deliver but to be brave, inventive, and unconventional. Gather people you trust and respect, be resourceful and plunge! As filmmakers we need to be making movies. So let's do it. No excuses." Ingrid Veninger
