On Saturday January 27th WIFT-AT will host a workshop designed to help women in screen-based media identify sexual harassment in the workplace. The goal of the workshop is to empower each woman to claim her space so that she can do her job with confidence, comfort, and safety. This full-day session will explore issues around harassment—what it is, what it looks like, why it happens—with a focus on learning ways to respond in situations that may arise on-the-job. Are you ready for the most exciting silent auction ever? We are!

A highlight of the annual Women Making Waves conference has consistently been the annual silent auction. It’s a great opportunity to bid on a wide range of goods—everything from industry related products to the fun and eclectic will be showcased. The silent auction will open on the evening of our feature film screening and networking event, Friday March 2, 2018, and we will close the auction with the end of the conference on Saturday March 3, 2018. Proceeds go toward funding Women in Film and Television Atlantic initiatives such as the All Access Pass Award (AAPA).
